The first question I normally get asked is ´what is the best age to start learning Spanish´- The answer? The sooner the better.
Children, especially in their early years, are like little sponges, constantly absorbing information from their surroundings in a natural way. That's why it is very beneficial for them to start learning another language at a young age. Several studies have demonstrated the positive impact of learning a second language has on the native language. When children learn to speak Spanish, they naturally become better speakers on their own language.
Language classes, in this case Spanish classes, should be taught using fun and interactive methods, particularly when teaching small children. The best way for them to learn is through games and play as they are not even aware they are learning!
I guess the last question is, why Spanish? Spanish is the third most spoken language in the world. It is a practical language and it will definitely open many doors in the future!
